ISSA Education and
Scholarship Foundation
The Education and Scholarship Foundation program is designed to
occupational training at an accredited two-year college, an accredited
four-year college or university or an accredited propietary vocational
school.
Scholarship applicants must be members or children of ISSA
members. The sponsor must be the parent or legal guardian of the
applicant and a member in good standing at the time the application is
made. Applicants are judged by a foundation committee, and the winners
will be notified by mail. Recipients will be required to provide proof of
enrollment to receive the award.
The scholarship is based in part on need, and therefore, financial
information from the applicant’s family is also required. Other supporting
documentation includes a certified copy of academic grades, letters of
recommendation from a teacher and community member and a hand-
written statement explaining his or her qualifications.
Applications for 2012 are due April 15. Download forms here. MS
